Purpose
This policy sets out how Rise and Thrive Global manages refunds, cancellations, credits and related participant requests.
Consumer Law Compliance
Rise and Thrive Global complies with applicable consumer law in the jurisdictions in which it operates, including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Any rights available to a participant under applicable law apply in addition to and are not limited by this policy.
Cancellation Requests
A participant who wishes to cancel their enrolment must provide written notice by email to support@riseandthrive.com.au. Rise and Thrive Global will acknowledge all cancellation requests within 2 business days. Where appropriate, other options such as deferral, suspension or transfer to a later cohort may be discussed.
Full Refund Circumstances
A full refund of fees paid will be provided in the following circumstances:
- Rise and Thrive Global cancels a programme or cohort
- An enrolment error has occurred, such as enrolment into a programme already completed
- Rise and Thrive Global is unable to fulfil the learning arrangement as described
Cancellation Before Commencement
Where written notice of cancellation is received more than 7 days before the published programme start date, the participant is entitled to an 90% refund of fees paid. The remaining 10% may be retained by Rise and Thrive Global to cover administration and committed delivery costs associated with the enrolment.
Cancellations Within 30 Days and Discretionary Outcomes
For withdrawals received within 30 days from the commencement of the Coaching Programme, the participant is entitled to an 80% refund of fees paid. The remaining 20% may be retained by Rise and Thrive Global to cover administration and committed delivery costs associated with the enrolment. Where a participant demonstrates documented extenuating circumstances, such as serious illness, a family emergency, or a significant life event, Rise and Thrive Global may, at its discretion, offer a partial refund, credit, deferral, or transfer to a future cohort.
Non-Refundable Elements
Early bird discounts are non-refundable once applied. Administration fees retained under the 15% cancellation retention clause are non-refundable. Fees for community events, additional resources or optional add-ons purchased separately are non-refundable unless Rise and Thrive Global cancels the relevant offering.
Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the refund decision being communicated to the participant. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method wherever possible.
If you believe Rise and Thrive Global has not complied with applicable consumer law, you may contact the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) or your relevant state or territory consumer protection body.
